タイ Thailand!!!

"Love of Siam" を観てMarioとPitchのファンになってから、めちゃくちゃタイに行きたくなりました！もともと旅行好きなんですが、タイとか他のアジアの国に行きたいとは今まで思ってもみませんでした（今までだったらイタリアとかフランスとか、ヨーロッパ巡りに行きたかったんですけど・・・）。"Love of Siam"を紹介してくれた友達がよく「タイにはカッコいい男の子が多い」と言っているので、「MarioとかPitchみたいに格好いい人に出会えるかな～♡」といつかタイに行ける日を待ちわびてちょっとわくわくしてます（端から見たら、あきれると思います、この気持ち・・・）。

ちょっとタイの事を調べてみると、タイはものすごく暑い国だそうです。なんと平均気温が28•5℃で、最低気温が24℃もあるそうです！もともと「結構暖かい国なんだろうな」と思っていたんですが、これほどとは思ってみませんでした。タイ料理も一度は食べてみたいと思ってます（食べるのが好きなので）。トムヤムクンとかがすごくおいしいって聞きます！中華料理の影響が大きいらしいです。中華が好きな私には嬉しい！

毎年、私の学校からは春休みに五日間タイ、マレーシア、ベトナムなどにボランティアで家を建てに行く"Habitat for Humanities"というプログラムがあります。今年のグループはタイにいったんですが、それを聞いて「私も行けばよかった」と結構後悔しました。来年は多分またタイらしいので、友達と絶対に行くつもりです！！家を建てに行くのは田舎なんですが、ホテルはバンコクらしいので（今からもう）楽しみです！

Ever since I watched "The Love of Siam", I've really wanted to go to Thailand! I've always really liked traveling, but Asian countries like Thailand hadn't really interested me before. I wanted to go to Europe more...(I still do, especially France and Italy. Rome has so much history, and I'm learning French right now) But the friend who introduced me to Mario told me there were a bunch of hot guys like Mario and Pitch in Thai, and that sounded really attractive to me..haha. 

I looked up some facts about Thai, and what really struck me was how hot it was there. I knew it was pretty warm there, but I never knew it was that hot! The average temperature there's 28•5℃! Wow. I also want to eat some Thai cuisine too...I've tried it a few times, but I want to it it in Thai! (weird, right?) 

My school has a program in which some students go to Thailand, Malaysia or Vietnam to build houses as volunteers over spring break, which is supported by a NPO called "Habitat for Humanities". The group this year went to Thailand, so I was like, "Damn! Should've went!!!" My friends and I are definitely going next year!!! I heard it was a lot of fun, and you get to earn a lot of service hours!!! ^_^
